Steering wheel extension hub on 911s 1967

    Hi all,

I am looking to extend out my existing steering wheel ( 911s 1967 ) for about 3 inches , this due to some difficulty in inserting the 1st gear ( my thigh hitting steering wheel )
Can anyone guide me to a possible supplier ? SierraMadre have only 1 inch ones

    Thank you

You need a smaller wheel, not an extension on your existing one.

Yes a smaller wheel and consider removing padding from the bottom of the seat to lower your torso. (BTW, that's a professional's job unless you are into upholstery.) . How tall are you? What seat do you have in the car?

    Hi Jackman ,
    I am 6'4 and large frame :-)
Seat is the original from 67s but re upholstered centuries ago :-)
When putting shifter into 1st gear ( the only problem ) it needs to go into my thigh

I'm about your size with long legs, I solved it in my 911 with a 1" extension and the 38cm wheel from a 914
