looking good as always Darren, although in bare metal it looks just as impressive.
Question: those two pins sticking out of the center bar in the interior (behind where the shifter sits), what are they for?
We removed them as our reference pictures showed they weren't there in the racers.

Thanks Patrick, as Gled highlighted these are seat belt mounts.

Obviously my shell differs from yours being based on the first of the G series and these bodies evolved during the first few years of production. Although the 3.0RS received all the Group 4 modifications for homologation purposes many were destined for road use with the fitment of 3-point belts.

My car is largely based on the RHD ex-Mexborough car #9092 as seen here.....

    Darren,
As I scroll through your pics of the outstanding bodywork, I am reminded of being at this stage on several projects...and how exciting it was. Getting the metal correct is so important, but then comes the most satisfying stage...bolting things onto all that beautiful bodywork. The final paint will come next of course, but spraying paint happens quickly when the bodywork is done right. Your final vision will begin to become reality when that 'bolting together' stage happens, and it is like watching a beautiful woman getting dressed for a special date....the anticipation is almost overwhelming!

Please keep the pics coming so we can all enjoy the vicarious pleasures....
