    Cheap, Cheap, Cheap H4’s

    ** SOLD **

The classifieds garage sale continues. As interest in longhoods wanes it seems like a good time to clean things up a bit.

As many know I usually strive to make my finished products as perfect as possible. So over time I have accumulated a lot of somewhat flawed, but perfectly presentable and usable parts that are just laying around. I figured I might as well use some of them to provide some low cost offerings and the first is this set of H4’s.

These are like a mongrel dog. Perfect on a driver, race car, etc. One reflector is a genuine original Bosch that has been replated. The other is a new modern one from Czechoslovakia or whatever. The buckets are nice but not Bosch. Lenses are H4 with no Bosch markings. Trim rings are slightly used. New bulbs are 55/55 or 55/100, your choice.

    Pictures coming soon.

Fully functional, not perfect, but look good. And here’s the best part... The price is $295.00 plus shipping.

    Cheers,
    John

    Here are some pictures:

Parts used are described in the original post. The one with the brown back is an original Bosch that I had replated. I was experimenting with painting the backs of Cibies and I liked the look so much I now use it on Cibie restorations. I didn't paint the other one because this is a bargain set.

Price reduced to $295.00 plus shipping. Buy them now - I'm headed out in the Airstream soon.

    Thanks,
    John

P.S. I'm giving this forum the first shot. If they don't sell quickly I will post them on PP where I don't think they will last long.

... nice with the small parking lamp in the reflector the buyer plans to use them on an impact bumper G series car? Initially at the h4 first appearance on 911 on so called rest of world longhood cars in March of 72 onwards there was no need for that integral sidelamp given the parking sidelamp for early front design was already in the other front lamp cluster. Sidelamp only became necessary with the the impact facelift
