    WTB: 1972 Shift Lever/Parts

I'm pulling the short shifter out of my 72 and need the one-year-only 915 shift lever, the small rubber boot, and parts to convert it back to stock. Please pm with info. Thank you!

Pretty certain you can use the 901 shifter from'69 - '71 as well even for a 915 , the pattern maybe different but other than the lockout for reverse which is interchangeable I think it is the same ..
I have used a 915 with a switched lockout for reverse for a 901 with no problems ..Bert

No you can’t. The 72 915 shifter is unique and is completely different under the base than anything earlier.
