    FS: Restored 911 Pedal Set, $450 out-right, $325 with a good core

This is a 911 pedal set for 1969-1975. It can be used for 1965-1968 911 and 912 if the master cylinder is changed to the later dual circuit type.

I can also set it up with the longer push rod to use with the 1965-1968 SWB cars.

The parts have all been stripped and the housing, shaft and cross tube are zinc plated.

The housing and pedals are powder coated. New bronze bushings and new springs and stopper are installed.
The price shipped in the U.S. is $450 outright. If you have a core the price is $325.
International shipping by USPS Priority Mail at shipping cost. Typically about $75.

You pay the core charge and when the core is returned the charge is refunded.
    Paypal accepted

I have one built at this time and have parts to build more it needed.

Beautiful job. I've been watching these over the years. What are the signs that yours needs replacing? And what is he typical benefit of a refurbished unit?

If your feet touch each other when you clutch/brake than you are probably in need of a rebuild.

Mr. Stone has rebuilt/restored 2 pedal clusters for me, one being a conversion to dual circuit master cylinder (including new switch) on a 67 911 Normal. The work was fast, beautiful, and has been a great improvement over worn 50 year old systems.

Can you elaborate on that a little bit for those (like me) without the knowledge? What's a sign of a 50 year old system? Just general sloppiness? Side to side movement of the pedals?

When well worn or the original nylon bushings have swollen, the pedals get sticky and won't come back to their proper position. In extreme cases you need to put your toes under the pedals and retract them by pulling them up with your toes. There can be some side to side play that indicates worn bushings, too. These get rebuilt with bronze bushings that have far superior wear qualities over the plastic ones from Porsche.

    Regards

    Jim

Perfect. Thanks, Jim. Sorry to bother anyone with my questions.

Is this pedal cluster compatible on a 914-6 which has the hand throttle unlike the 914-4 variety?

Yes, but you need the proper bell crank(?) part that has the "ear" on it for the rod to hit.
