    Thanks Franz!
    It is very interesting.
    I thought that the brackets are not original because of the pop rivets.
    I thought pop rivets were invented long after the 60s.
    But I was wrong: the POP rivet was invented in the 1940s

    Hope you can find the template and/or measurements of the cardboard.

    have seen riveted brackets very often on `64 cars. mostly the tabs that hold wiring, and fuel lines but also the floor board brackets etc.on 96 i found rivets (what i think ) to keep the right rear quarter panel in position prior welding it to the body
    not 100% sure if i took a template of the cardboard thingie(75%ish) but i certainly have measurements that i can provide....don`t have my data storage device handy now

    btw have seen many variations of shape position and orientation(L-pointing towards the front end or the rear) of the brackters in question

    Here are pictures of the front trunk of the 300090.
    I think the 2 brackets (yellow arrows) are used to fix the cardboard.
    These brackets do not seem original because of their shape.
    In addition they are fixed with rivets...
    I am therefore looking for the dimensions, shape and position of the original brackets.
    I would also like to know the dimensions of the cardboard.

    Webasto exhaust line brackets

    Hello,
    I don't have the webasto or its exhaust line yet.
    But we have to add / weld the Webasto exhaust line brackets before the cathodic dip coating bath.
    On the 300090 there remains one of the 2 brackets which hold the "silencer": So we have the model.
    Thanks to Franz, we have the shape of the brackets that hold the tube along the bottom of the body.

    Could someone tell us the position of the brackets of the exhaust line of the Webasto?
    A = ?
    B = ?
    C = ?

    Thanks,
    Philippe

    This 68 911R has original floor pan, pretty unmolested before restoration. Exhaust bracket in place, for your observation.
