I just noticed that white is actually not your original color.

I don’t know when they started w the slanted script but this sonauto 911 must be close to yours.

    Wanted: Tail Light French Version

    Hi all,
I am looking for the French version of tail lights for the 300090.
    I have the right side.
I'm looking for the left side but I'm ok to buy a pair. NOS Welcome!
The French version has a yellow lens for the back-up light.

Extract from the book by DR. B. JOHNSON page 32

Here is a picture of the original right side I have:

Some precisions about the French version and one note about the PET.

References found in the PET for the Europe version.
    901 631 403 00 / 90163140300 rear light left for Europe not for (F)
    901 631 404 00 / 90163140400 rear light right for Europe not for (F)
Note the "not for (F)" => not for France

References found in the PET for the French version.
Note the "YELLOW left/right for (F)" => YELLOW left/right for France
    901 631 403 00 / 90163140300 rear light YELLOW left for (F)
    901 631 404 02 / 90163140402 rear light YELLOW right for (F)

It looks like there is an error in the PET.
    Indeed 901 631 403 00 had to be 901 631 403 02 as shown in the picture of a left side below.

    The original right side I have: 901 631 404 02

    Left side (picture found on the Net): 901 631 403 02 and not 901 631 403 00

    Thank you

    Porsche dealer Perpignan, France

The 300090 was delivered in France to the Porsche dealer in Perpignan in December 1964.
I'm trying to contact the grandson of the person who was the boss of the dealership in 1964.
Maybe he has pictures of the car on the day he arrived or in the showroom.

    Philippe

    Cowl drip trays

The drip tray came in three variations in 1964, 1965 the change to the fiberglass has not yet been documented as to model or date.

Prototype was a vacuum formed black plastic that split at the holding bracket. The plastic was similar to the under armrest cover, on the inside door grabs.
Found on some 1964 cars - but if they had been changed within the first few years they would have been changed to one of the following two.

    Second,
Molded plastic tray with part number 901.571.231.23 Substantial and appears to have been a costly item. Examples found have not had any fractures or leaks.
(Look to the next Post as the order that these photos will appear)

    Third
    Fiberglass, unpainted

The third variation was the change to fiberglass.

    Color was unpainted.

    Hope this helps.
