I am hooking up wiring on a 73 911 and have a question about a spare wire.

You see three wires in the picture. The brown wire on the right is the horn ground. The brown wire with the white stripe on the right is the horn wire which I confirmed with continuity from the horn relay. My question is about the wire on the left which is also a brown wire with a white stripe. It comes out of the wiring loom for the turn signal switch, but I don’t see anything to plug it into. The wiring diagram for the 73 only shows one Brown/white wire which is the horn wire on the right.
Any ideas? An unused wire for a Sportomatic transmission or something?
Thanks,
Chuck
