That sucks. Was it in the garage? Or in the driveway.
Help bump to keep this at the top. Sorry - good luck locating her.

I’m truly sorry for what’s happened. I just went through it and the feeling when you realize it’s gone is brutal. I was lucky. The LAPD found my car and returned it to me. I wish you the same luck. Please post pictures and identifying numbers so we can get the word out.

Your car is at Copart San Diego:

The real mystery is why someone with 3 posts would post a stolen vehicle report here and then never come back to follow up even a year later even after the car has resurfaced.

Not fishy al all. That car, most likely, was recovered after the owner was paid off by his insurance company (usually after 30 days from reporting it stolen). It is being sold by the Insurance Company who are the car's owner, now. It, probably won't have a salvage title, as the Insurance Companies in California, often transfer ownership to themselves in cases like this. The owner came on the forum to let us know about his stolen car, got paid off, and moved on.
Scott, those of us in NorCal are relatively safe from theft. SoCal? Not so much.

Just trying to provide info. I guess I do have a bit of knowledge in this instance, having been a licensed Auto Dismantler in the State Of California for over 40 years. Boy, am I glad to be retired and reduced to just a plain old California Citizen, though
