    What is the finish on 1968 quarter window trim? Anodized or Polished

    I'm starting to put my 68 back together and so I'm cleaning everything up. My quarter window trim has some cloudiness, I have tried a good quality aluminum polish and wet sanding(lightly) with 1000 grit. It looks a little better but I dont want to get to aggressive if it is anodized. So polished or anodized? Any other tricks? Thanks

    Is the frame made of aluminum? And no the finish is not gone they look fine, just not perfect.

    I was under the impression that’s 68 was the year that had chrome window trim, is that incorrect?
    looking for 1972 911t motor XR584, S/N 6121622

    Not sure from the photo you can truly tell what the finish actually looks like - I'll stand by my comment that if 1000 grit was used - and if it was indeed an anodized finish - it is no longer.
