    Jack storage in trunk

It wasn’t until MY74 that Porsche gave us proper jack storage by adding brackets to the forward panel. For MY73 and earlier cars proper jack storage appears to be an afterthought, with most owners resorting to wrapping the jack in a towel or other cloth. Problem being, after periods of spirited driving the jack escapes or is just thrown around with potential for minor damage.

Anyone have reasonable solutions to the flying jack problem. Rob

I know what you mean. I wrap mine with a towel and wedge my tool kit in there just right. Funny how Porsche was so thoughtful on almost everything except securing something that could do some real damage. I thought am I missing a threaded hole somewhere for a Jack clamp? Guess I'll have to install a Jack dock

Ha ha, very attractive. I guess it could double as a weapon of defence that way
