Dimension of door seal spacer 90153194520

There had been two door seal spacer for each door to reduce wind noise/ enhance sealing.

The part is nla.(allready discussed in #20 of http://www.early911sregistry.org/for...ferrerid=29735)

    90153194520

Anyone out there with a NOS one? Would be very interested in dimension.

Hey Dirk I don't think they existed for 72/73 cars as the seal included the expanded piece required as part of its structure

I used 2 pieces of strategically placed 3M dum dum in the correct seals on each door. Placed as in the diagrams. Works well and isn't noticeable.

Ravi, could you share pictures of what you installed and where the 'spacers' are placed relative to the door seal? thanks!

I certainly can, but it won't be till the weekend. Car is up on the lift in my garage and I have a busy week ahead. But I'll be taking Hildegard down for a ride on the weekend if the weather cooperates.

    Hey Clyde,
yes I think so too, but unfortunatly I havent found a source for 72/73 seals that include the bulge.
The two plastic parts for each door window frame had been introduced later. Those days they just used dum dum to bridge the gap.

I had a fence blow down in a thunderstorm last week, so that took priority. Will definitely be out with her on Saturday and will take some pics.
