    2020 Euro Early911sreg gathering?

Hi I am just thinking out loud.
Should we try to put something together next fall?
If yes what type of event?
I have something like a "Sternfahrt" in mind - perhaps with a little less of planning overhead compared to 2017 but am pretty much open to any idea that is feasible.
When we're 10-15 cars we can probably have it on a "everybody pays his own bill and books his own bed" strategy making it easy for the organizers having only to take care of lunch dinner and route.
    How about meeting
    a.) in the swiss/french alps
    b.) austrian/italian alps
c.) south of munich north of austria
    d.) alsace / black forest
    e.) Odenwald Germany
    f.) Allgäu/Bavaria/Swabian Alb
having 2-3 days of driving togther.
I'd like to have stints of 170-250km / day
The travel to the meeting point could also be done in groups similar to Monte carlo. Meet at a couple of places across europe and drive from there to the venue.
When everybody books his own Hotel the evenings should be at some larger citys - not my cup of tea but it makes organization easier.
I have planned my 6.000 km Goodwood trip this year with Scenic app (which is available for android and ios) on an ipad and it is really the first app that works for me - so I would save the hassle of doing a printed Roadbook the app will do well enough.

I am also open to other locations but c-f would be easiest for me to organize.

As I travel to goodwod revival next year anyway this might be a target too. On the way to there is germany luxembourg, belgium, france and england. However finding acommodation in Goodwood is already difficult for revival 2020.

Let me hear what you think.

    Cheers
    Uli

(PS: if I commit - it happens)

Sounds very interesting. I will not have a drivable longhood at that moment. If C3.o is accepted...

    All options are OK.

Me neither... I don't have a problem with watercooled or even non Porsche. It's a meeting among like minded.
And also there might be the possibility of sombody looking for a Co-Pilot. As long as we're not mixing in modern supercars with no ground clearance it should not be a problem.

    Hi Uli!

Great idea - every possibility looks tempting.
