I just got news that Goodwood Revival 2020 is not happening.
This leaves some room for more.
If anybody would be interested I might add 2-3 days in the black forest and the trip to Dornbirn before the event.
Same conditions: No fee, no (printed) roadbook - just Scenic App. Everybody books/pays his own stuff (accomodation etc).
I'll just provide some tours and locations for lunch/dinner.
If there is enough response we could have 14th Sept. evening Meeting in Freudenstadt area
15th September drive through black Forest starting / ending in Freudenstadt Area
16th September drive from Freudenstadt to Allgäu / or even already Austria Dornbirn
    17th - 21st as scheduled

In the meantime, I will be at the Porsche Automuseum in Gmünd on Sunday 26 July. I have opened a dedicated post, for those who would like to meet there.

So far 10 participants with 9 cars
Can we get a head count please?
It isn't binding as in these times things may change from one day to the other.
Also it's pretty obvious that overseas participants won't be able to join but I've listed you anyway - perhaps you're stuck in Europe as there are no flights home.
If you think you'll join the tour please let me know.
If you're still unsure but would like to join please mark as tentative.
I'll check with restaurants for lunch/snack and dinner and would like to get a head count.

One problem is can we Americans travel there?

I brought back a 1959 Carrera cabriolet and a 928 I had in Germany. I’ll see if I can get access to a 67 Targa.

But it probably doesn’t look great.

I'm in and will take my '72 Targa (1 person 1 car), as long as the virus doesn't interfere. Planning to leave the Netherlands Wednesday morning, arrive in Dornbirn Thursday 17th before 18:00. Then I have to leave from Merano on Sunday in the morning again. I'm really looking forward to some nice Alpine drives, but the drive through the Black Forest to Austria should be great as well!

I'm not sure what the current travel restrictions for Americans are and it would depend on your country of arrival -- but it doesn't look like it's going to get better. There's a real chance a "second wave" is coming with associated lockdowns. And returning to the US could result in a 14-day quarantine period.
