    72 oil fill door and pull knob

    I have a very hard to find 72 oil door. Also have the knob with cable. Both in perfect condition.

    That pull cable is not correct. 72 used a push rod.

    I agree with Scott, as I just recently took mine apart. The '72 oil door is a push button with a rigid rod, not a cable. The pull cable looks like it is from a fuel door.

    I may have the correct rod. I was not sure if it was part of the 72 setup. Now that you say that I may of seen it. I'll post tomorrow. I'm assuming the cable pictured is for the fuel flap.
