    They are only original once

    Just wanted to share some pictures of this incredible original paint sunroof car. This is a 1 owner car, I had to acqure this car sight unseen with a vague info and so so pictures. Was a total gamble. Turned out to be a real gem.

    Build Sheet - This was a car that would have been specially ordered by the first owner with these unique options as decoded from the Kardex build sheet:

    undercarriage - I have had countless people, concours judges, guys trying to make the perfect car all ask how do you re-create the bottom of a car so it look original. Well you can't, you can only fake it the best you can. Look at the smorgasbord of SKS undercoat, original german paint, blackening out paint, overspray, then see the cosmoline lines where they sprayed the stuff on the bottom.

    Interesting option is a tire pressure gauge, not sure if this is correct but it seem right... a Drager gauge. It didn't come with the car but I put if with the car until the correct part info is known.

    Another interesting piece is the original plaque the put on the dash with the owners name on it, this one never installed.

    Super High Spec Custom Ordered Sweetheart

    Superb car.
    Must have been hard for the PO, who i imagine to have been a old school 356 guy still unconvinced of the merits of the 911 concept, to let go of his super high spec custom ordered sweet heart.
    Of course i am also partial to Olive.
