    65/66 experts - help needed

    Sirs,
A friend is restoring a very early 66 solex car (65 build date w' non-adjustable front struts). Extensive metalwork is happening. During his research, he found a photo with a couple extra brackets that he cannot identify. Can anyone tell us what the brackets are and if they should be on his car?

    Thanks!

Windshield washer pump bracket and the bracket for the washer tank reservoir. They should be on a late 65 or 66 car

Dave, my 302316 also a 65-built 66 still was fitted with the bag type washer reservoir thus no bracket in front for the SWF bottle type reservoir.

Maybe a better question is do you have a 1"+ size hole "behind" the shock tower on the passenger side? Because if you do, then you wouldn't need the bracket for the washer bottle. May not need the bracket for the pump either as isn't the pump up need the hood shock tower on the earlier cars (I have no clue, my world pretty much starts and ends in 1967).

Yep the pump sits right behind the hood shock.

Thank you all. It looks like this car predates the hard washer bottle. Thanks for the input
