Type & Color Rear Seat Back Screws?

There seem to be two different type of rear seat back screws. One type has the flat screw surface face and the other has a curved face as shown in the photo. Does anyone which years each was used?

Since I am going to have a bunch of these plated, does anyone know the proper plating color? I know the that in '70-'73 cars these were yellow zinc. Is this the case for the SWB cars? Also what about '74 and later?

Tom, All of the '70-'73 cars that I have seen have the slotted screw with rounded head and plated in yellow zinc.

Believe the swb cars were silver zinc, for sure the early swb cars were

Not that it needs it, but I second the statement by 718RSK. All four of he SWBs I have owned had silver plating, although this was probably cadmium when plated that long ago from the factory. Today, you would probably get #1 (clear) zinc as a perfectly matching, less toxic substitute.

clear on early, yellow on late, all longhood cars were rounded - never seen a flat one so might be later.
