Which horns are correct for a late 1967 911 ?

My research shows that one opinion is that a late 1967 911 Coupe would have had the following two horns:

    902 635 102 00 Flat type 335Hz plus a 400Hz Fanfare (snail type)

Can anyone confirm that this is correct ?

    Thanks

    David

I can't give you a definitive answer, but I also can't believe the factory would have mixed horn types on the same car. Every one of my 67s (2 Karmann 912, one S Targa, and one Normal) all had "snail" horns. It is possible they were replaced along the way, but the factory parts manual indicates the "snail" horn sets were used on 911 from vin 305101 and for 912 from vin 354001. Each of these numbers is the starting chassis number for 1967 production. You can reasonably conclude, then, that any 1967 production car left the factory with a set of "snail" (fanfare) horns unless something else was special ordered. Again, someone more knowledgeable might correct me on this.
