    73 turn signal switch restoration

    Hi,
My turn signal switch works but it doesn’t have a definitive click and auto release when the steering comes back to neutral. I tend to have to cancel the signal myself. Has anyone had a similar issue and had any success in fixing this? I don’t really want to change to the spare round stalk version I have.
    Thanks
    Gitesh

Check you cancel ring. It may not be correctly positioned on the steering wheel hub.

Recently had this same issue with a '72 turn signal switch. I Very Gently cleaned and lubricated the three springs and other moving parts in the switch mechanism and that solved the problem.
