    72 911 hot rod - tire pressure recommendation please

    My 72 is running 225/50/16 front and 245/45/16 rear tires on 8" and 9" FUCHs respectively. Original 185/70/15 tires ran 26 and 29 PSI, and I'd appreciate thoughts on what to use for the current combination. Internet search was not much help. Thank you.

    Can you tell us the type of tire on your car and your suspension set up. Is this a daily driver or a weekend warrior for pissin' on telephone poles on the weekends....

    Thank you - Pirelli PZERO Rossos, 3.2 Carrera with Elephant Racing front cooler system - mostly stock rebuild with Steve Wong chip (exhaust in the works with M&K who have been most helpful in doing a proto-type build for me), 21 and 28 mm hollow torsion rods, aluminum trailing arms, late model Carrera calipers, RENNSHIFT shifter....just 130 break-in miles at present and will be doing an alignment in just a bit so front and rear stabilizers not yet installed. Casual to spirited weekend vintage driving enjoyment will be its use...have late model 911s for aggressive stuff.

    Nick - thank you...all steel car...original front and rear bumpers were pie cut and worked to blend into the ST flares. Updated Recaros and square weave carpeting. Hope you are busy with your project!
