    Refinished Original Heat Exchangers

Sold... Really nice set of refinished heat exchangers for on MFI car. I had these media blasted and I coated them with a high temp silver/grey from Eastwood. They have not been installed on a car. Shortly after I finished them, I found a nice set of SSIs instead. These are in great shape and were not a set of rusted out exchangers. There are three very small pin holes that I circled. The metal in that area is still strong and in very good condition. Plug and play this nice set in your car. Lowered price to $800 plus shipping.

They will work with a carbed car (like mine), just put a hard rubber plug in the MFI outlet. If you have a carbed car, I will include the plug.

Thanks for the clarification. Guess I wasn't clear in that I was not claiming these were "factory original," but are OEM Porsche H/E's. I guess using the word "original" was technically incorrect. Curious what the difference is between "factory original" and Porsche OEM replacement is.

Correct for '69-71 MFI, but not correct for '72-73 MFI cars. Will work on the later cars if you don't have/use the warm air flapper thingie.

Thanks for that clarification. They came off a 70S and were going on my 69.

They are a nice looking pair. If the left side had the secondary exchanger for the warm air intake, I'd have bought them when first posted. GLWS!

I just noticed that I did not post the pic showing the pin holes. Sorry. They literally are very small pin sized.

Still available. Will go great with the Leistritz muffler recently sold (and not the one from 2018 that just showed up again).
