Earlier this year I asked for input regarding repairing a lighted sign shield that I bought 10 years ago.
On YouTube I found a SanDiego based company, eplastics.com, who suggested to try SCI grip SC4:

SCI worked excellent for fixing the cracks. It’s thin like water and kind of melts the material. For the wider cracks I used acrylic glue.

After the sign was strong enough I took it to an artist by the name of Wessel Westerveld. Originally the sign came in two styles, double sided and single wall mounted

Since I only had one shield I asked Wessel to make something industrial , cool, early 60s. This is what he created

I will pick up soon and add lighting. Then hang it in the shop with greasy hands and in a few weeks brake dust will give it the proper patina 😂
