    Heater/Fresh Air Control lights?

The '72/73 Heater/Fresh air controller in the cockpit has (4) bulb holders as shown. One bulb comes off the harness on the controller itself. One bulb is used only when there is a gas heater. I think the other two are illumination lights that light up when the headlights are on. It looks like this is a separate harness that must daisy chain off the instrument lights. Can anyone confirm this? Or is it a part of the main under-dash harness?
Is there a source for the buld holders if I decide to make up a spearate harness?

Tom, my very early '72 (8/71) only has 2 bulb holders, the red (for Webasto) and the blue (for the vent fan). The other 2 do not exist on the earlier control console. I think you can see the difference from the outside by the shape of the white triangles. Tall narrow up/down arrows are not backlit (but appear to be glo-in-the-dark instead). The wide triangles can be backlit.

As far as where to get the bulb sockets, I'm not sure.

The illumination lights for the fresh air control, gauges, ashtray, etc. all come from a separate daisy chain harness. I gets power from the headlight switch and is dark wire, blue or black with a white stripe.

I would suggest you contact, timmy2 on Pelican as Dennis makes this harness with it’s incorporated bulb sockets.
