What year trans? ALU or MAG. Not sure they make one for ALU trans.

1965, I believe it's Alu. Well that's a bummer, what's the difference between the Mag and Alu for it not to be compatible

Differentials, bearings, are smaller in ALU trans. Differential for Mag 914, 911 and early 915 are the same and larger. Guard makes a diff for the ALU 901. My search of Wavetrack shows 69-73 911’s, which won’t include ALU trans.

The original LSD for the AL case was the 904 version.

Have you looked up Gripper diffs?

I talked with John at Gripper but they won't be back into the shop until Jan 9th. I can't wait that long.
