A bit of mixed bag there. The radio looks like a Z-series Frankfurt with the "modern" speaker plug receptacle. Usually found in '69 to '70 cars. The chrome faceplate is an earlier vintage, '65 to '68 or thereabouts. Experts: feel free to disagree.

    I believe it's a 1968/69 serie Z Frankfurt radio with a small chrome faceplate

I think it came out of my ‘71E but after 32 years I couldn’t remember!
Here is the label on the side.

Looks like your radio was sent to Robert Bosch Corp. for repair. The original label should be underneath, I agree with enzo it is a Z model 68/69 with the triangle speaker plug and push buttons that are not concave.

Thanks everyone! Is the yellow wire power in? I’d like to test it. And, is it worth anything? Would it be best to reinstall it in my E?

Yes, the yellow wire is power in. However, do not power up the radio without a speaker plugged into the correct ports. Early Blaupunkts are known to self-destruct if you do that.

As for putting it into your E, it might fit but the faceplate is incorrect. The proper faceplate has a recessed, frosted-finish center bar. Value? Maybe a few hundred bucks if it works. Less than a hundred if not.
