Ruby is new to the stable

    Greetings all,

Let me introduce you "Ruby". Ruby is a ruby red 911E1973 that have been racing for the last 20 years, and was taken off the road in 1999. She was on sale through BAT and I won the auctions. At first glance, I felt in love with that race car. The car has left Texas where her previous owner live and now she is in CA.

I plan to bring her to France and race in Europe, but before that I will drive her on the US road, hence making her road legal. That means lights all around, putting some nice period correct pepita bucket seats, light carpets and a steel Dansk pea shooter muffler, also a 85L fuel tank replacing the ATL cell, plus few minor tweaks.
The engine is still a 2.4 but with HC pistons, S camshafts and mechanic fuel injection also tuned to S spec.

Ruby will not be alone once here, and I dreamt so long for having longhoods, and now...wow. Thank you all, your passion are spreading through the screen.
For the ones attending treffen, then you will meet Ruby and I. Can't wait.

I will keep the community posted.

    All the best.
