And she is now arrived, she is with me. I am so happy. She is exactly like how I love early 911s : full of life. Ruby has been a race car since 1999 and raced for nearly 20 years.
Erik Lind at SportsPurposeGarage, Livermore, CA did a very good job in making her "road legal", tweaking and servicing her.
The truck came today, early afternoon, after more than a month on a vessel, and more than 3 months not running. I put gas in, (fuel tank is emptied by carrier before the crossing), and she started right away, like she wanted to please me.
I drove her around the block, and I immediately knew we will make some great driving and track days.

Few tiny tings to fix and she will be ready to get on a track by the road of course.

    Greetings,

Ruby has now new rubbers (AVON CR6Z) on new roms (Group4Wheels AR TD) which fit/look far better. She is now French and waiting for her new registration plates.
Yesterday I test track her, @Lurcy-Levis race track. A day organised by Crubilé Sport with few other Porsche owners (2.8 RSR, 2.0L 1965, a 3.0 RSR) and a Chevron.
that was the first time I drove Ruby and boy she is awesome. that car is safe, talkative and fast. Had a coaching session with Xavier Pompidou, and he told me that the car is nice, balanced and fast - and he had fun with me driving - I have so much improved my skills. Ruby is a race car for sure.
