So on my 69 E I'm trying to flush out any remaining bugs. The driver side glass was hard to roll up and down. First thought was the window regulator (parallel arm model) so I removed to inspect. Pivots are in good shape and pin that retains the spring is intact and in good condition. A little more play in the cranking shaft is the only thing noted. I then moved to testing movement of the glass by hand in the guides (tracks) with the regulator removed. Movement is free and smooth until about 1/3 of the way from being rolled completely down. Takes a lot of force both up and down in the bottom third of range of motion. Loosened all adjusting points in the window frame to see if I could free things up with no improvement. The front and rear fuzzies are all new so should be no problem there. Am I missing anything? Suggestions welcomed.
