    Rear screen wipers on 911s

Can anyone tell when they first started fitting the rear screen wipers on the 911S ?

    Thank you

I'm pretty sure they had rear wipers very early. 64 or 65 or 66.
So they had wipers before they even made the "S" version.
I believe this to be a 1965 car in photo, which is a screenshot.

I'm almost sure that everybody has already seen this article, but in doubt:

When it comes to 928s, the nec plus ultra is to have one without rear wiper

Porsche planned to introduce rear windshield wipers in October 1965. When they were first shipped is another matter.

From an accessories price list dated September 1965 (MY 1966):

    Rear window wiper
    Essuje-glace de Ia lunette amere (a' partir d'Octobre-Planing 65)
    Tergicristallo per lunotto

It's one of the few accessories in this list with no price shown. By the way, this price list also shows rubber pads on the bumpers and KONI shock absorbers as planned for October 1965.
