    What engine transaxle?

Solid 72S Targa that I want to drive and enjoy a bit before I restore it. Numbers matching engine/trans. It runs fine (no rattles), but has 108k on the clock. When it gets to temp in the summer the oil pressure gets kind of low at an idle. (What is low?) So I would rather pull it out and have a "drop in" engine/trans and save the original for restoration.

From what I have read, the transmission numbers designate gear ratio so I would want a bit more "gear" for running down the highway.

I have Webers, but EFI isn't out... Although the purists will hate it... I WILL use this powertrain in another 911 hotrod project.

How hard is reliable 300hp to achieve? Normally aspirated carb motor?

16" with autoX tires. You run it hard and turn around and they pick up the pea gravel and sling...

The last thing I need to do with the rear is get the anti roll bar installed.
