SWB Used Hella Headlight Lenses with Matching Numbers

    Friends,

For those of you who are meticulous in your restoration work, I am offering three pairs of used "SB19 SB20 SB21" headlight lenses with matching numbers. It is my understanding that these lenses are correct for SWB 911/912, but you should verify for yourself. Each pair shares the same 'date code' along the lower left rim. (The research indicates that others have attempted to decipher the numeric date code, but I do not claim to understand that voodoo.)

Setting aside the 'date-code-decipher' thing, the benefit here is that you can point out to the judges in the next Concourse that your lens dates match, and get extra points vs. the philistines you are competing against who falsely allege to have the 'correct' and 'original' SB19 SB20 SB21 lenses, but since the lens numbers don't match, the lenses were made at different times, and therefore cannot 'both' be correct for their cars.

The matching numbers lenses are offered at $70 per pair, plus shipping and fees (a small price to pay for the privilege of discovering a new way to split hairs at a car show. Plus, you can use this new knowledge to amaze and delight your friends at Hershey in 2020, assuming anyone will still speak to you.)

The photos were taken straight out of storage to show the numbers, and the lenses were not yet cleaned. We are in the process of doing that cleaning.
