    almost perfect unrestored wood wheel incl puck
    3900,- euro pick up in Düsseldorf / Germany

    easy to tell......aluminum wheels show the frame between the wood, steel wheels don`t

    What market are you referring to? At those prices, I would be interested.

    I saw an aluminum one last week at the Lit/Toy Show for $5,500.

    Don't know that the 'market' is at 800$ for a wooden wheel, I saw that wheel at the Lit Show and the price was more of a 'Seriously?' than anything else. Most wooden wheel (albeit steel not aluminum) I have seen recently are closer to the 1400/2000$ mark depending on quality..

    As a data point, I sold a wheel last month that was not as nice as this one for $3k.
