I got the book. Im shocked.

The book is using images stolen and copied from this early911S registry board and which i posted by myself.

I identify MY OWN items, i can identify them through the notes/marks they have.
I identify all my items in the book i own and still own.

They also used pictures from other members, like period factory shots posted on this registry.

Porsche Classic Gelderland is selling and promoting a book -labelled as Porsche Classic- which is using stolen images posted from this registry board, items i own and they are my own pictures from my items.
They copied it and printed it.
Luckily many faults, wrong years and info, also many are missing , since i never posted them yet on this board. The book is incomplete and cannot provide accurate information.
No credits given to me or others, except Kohl.

Im currently writing a report to Frank Jung at Porsche and also to the head of Porsche museum.
They both are unaware of this production and responed already to me and Mäder, this „book“ who was done independently by a dutch dealer, without asking the Porsche Archiv in Stuttgart.

We will work on actions and im in direct contact with Porsche.

My item, original, see CH note.

    They used it in
the book, image stolen from registry i posted.

Much more are used in the book.
Neither me nor the registry is asked or informed.

The images used/stolen/copied from the registry are in general not focussded and slightly blurred, but i can see they did use essentially all literature items i personally own and posted for others here on this board: they copied it and used it in their commercial product.

    Hi Karim
This is pretty shocking behaviour from an "official" Porsche Classic dealer...
    1966 911 Coupe - Slate Grey - 304598 - still in restoration!

    Sorry to see this, Karim.

The book content is completely incomplete and the most rare are not published, because i never posted them.
It has a lot of faults, its just a patchy book collecting images taken from the internet, plus a few „they“ own.
I dont care about publishing rights, but they should give credits, especially if its a book using images taken from the internet/early911Sregistry, OUR registry!

Im in contact with Porsche archive in Stuttgart, they already responded to me.

    I checked the „book“ again.

At least 38 (!) items are in which are mine. Identified through stains, metal fastener, notes, foldings, stamps.
I suspect they are partially also scans i once sent to Charlie White (RIP) or a french site im member.

The stupid thing Porsche Classic Center Gelderland did is that they wrote so many faults, for example 1970 when it was 1971.
I counted 10 faults of Model Year, which is amazingly bad.

What a mess those wannabee did, nobody asking, stealing images but cant check since they own those originals not...the great US Upholstery are missing entirely as are advertisement.
The most rare items they did not include, because they couldn’t get hold of it.

More of what is all mine.

Porsche Head of Archive responded to me today.
They say potential copyright misuse and no authorization of Porsche Crest, Porsche name, Porsche historic Brochures and factory images for this dutch „book“.‘
Porsche Classic Department of PAG is also informed.
Porsche‘s own legal department is informed too.

Almost entire picture content is stolen from the internet.
The scans are even done by myself.
The site were the images are stolen is a french site, of where i contributed and member of this site.
    Here:

I will open a new thread asap.

    Here another proof.
Watch the item on the website (scan done by me), in the book and my own original.
    Same curve of stain.

The owner of the french website www.ecurielyford.com is nobody else than our registry member Milou aka Thomas Seydoux.
His entire website was downloaded and made into a commercial book distributed by an official Porsche Classic dealership (Porsche Centrum Gelderland / Netherland), by using scanned images and items i contributed to Ecurie Lyford. Neither they own images or items shown, neither they contacted us, and, according to Porsche Stuttgart never asked for permission at the Archive or elsewhere either.

Milou / Ecurie Lyford is currently writing to Porsche PAG and Head of Porsche Archive as well.

Thomas here. I find it unbelievable that an Official Porsche Center is publishing a book based on stolen images of a brochure collection without even asking its owner. I am truly sorry for Karim who generously let us borrow his scans for our website.

If the Porsche Factory does not show respect to its pool of enthusiast fans, where do we go from here?

I will check on my side what legal action can be taken, and will contact the factory as well.
