    One Horn or Two?

Restoring my US-spec, 5 speed 1970 911T. Factory options included a radio, rear tow hook, rubber bumper guards and S instruments. I found that it has a single snail horn mounted under the left battery box, but there is wiring and a bracket for a horn on the right side. The 700 mile 911S pictures show a right side horn, but I recently saw a picture of the underside of a 911T for sale that did not show a right side horn. Should I have a right side horn or not?

    Thanks,

    Bruce E

Hi Bruce -- Although my car is a RoW Karmann 71T, I have two snail horns. One underneath each of my two batteries. Believe they are 400hz (driver) /500hz (passenger).

Here's an old thread that I found that suggests your 70 should have the same setup: https://www.early911sregistry.org/fo...-up-911E-1970/

    Good luck!
