    Info on these bumper guards and wtb a set

    As I noted in the other thread you started on these, I believe those are protection bars for the front A/C condenser, only present on factory A/C cars.

    Yes , only on cars with factory A/C and only '72 , '73 . Good luck .

    My factory AC '73 car does not have these. Were they only delivered on certain cars? A special option?

    My 72S with factory (documented) ac did not have the bars.

    Interesting. I know I've seen a few pictures of cars with them. If my 72T had them originally is unknown, mine had a replacement bumper on it when I bought it. I wonder how it was determined which A/C cars had them?

    If we can find the VIN of a car with them originally, then we have a chance of finding an option code.

    It's probably a ROW thing for 73 911s. I've had plenty of Rubber front guards from 73 US 911s with factory air and the bars.
