How far do I have to go...

I have always sandblasted my restorations before starting the metal work. We don't have the resources in the front range of Colorado that will dip a chassis, anymore. I am not interested in the pros and cons of media vs chemicals...this is an over-discussed discussion for me. Just curious from the board members with experience how far I would need to travel to get a chassis dipped. Considering Denver as ground zero...how far would I have to go to get this accomplished.
    Thanks for the insight.

I'd probably start by contacting a local high-end restoration shop --- some place that does Porsches

    Like maybe calling these Guys for a recommendation/referral? . . .

I've been impressed with the results of soda blasting... almost as good as chem strip in that no metal is affected. It's a cost effective alternative.

I am familiar with all the above mentioned resto/metal/paint shops, and they use Blastec and A1...both media shops.
And to get them to do the job right...you need to supply a rotisserie or modified cradle. I actually have vehicles at two of those shops.

Thinking about diversifying my supply chain...and evolving with the times.

I would find a dip place near somewhere I wanted to visit, drop it off, make a vacation out of it, and pick the car up. I do this all the time when I find a car in a cool place like Maine, the kids love it when I find cars in Maine, that means Lobstah!
