    Just got a bid from Redi-strip in the midwest (pretty sure the Lobstah isn't fresh) for a coupe of $2900-3400...ouch! I guess you gotta pay to play eh?
    That makes media blasting look cheap! The search continues...

    Think I posted on this before but my solution was to take the fenders, engine lid, trunk lid, bumpers, doors and rear quarters off and transported them for dipping. At the time there was still a facility in Mass and I'm in NJ. Could probably sent in two large crates rather than personal transport but that would have taken some carpentry skills. Left essentially with the shell which was blasted by guys out of New Paltz New York. Wound up with a mud like slurry in the parking lot but shell very clean and no bending or warping. Of course already determined that he were replacing longs and heat tubes. Putting it back has been extremely slow but everything clean. The chem treated pieces were primed within 30 days per the strippers suggestion.
