It so happened that I knew quite a bit about the swiss owner of 451, who died in the hillclimb race that takes place not 5 miles from my home. His garage's name should still be on the front fender of 451.

Thank you for sharing George! This is a car that “connects” people! The connection between the cars and the people have further fostered my automotive passion over the years. Perhaps we’ll come visit you someday! In any event the stickers you reference are still on both front fenders! The garage stickers and gold the Carrera script were added early in the car’s life and thankfully they’re on the car and present quite well! And oh the ‘worn in’ unrestored corduroy sports seats sit soooo damn good!

Perfect! I can’t think of a better caretaker for this prize car. Jason is a great guy, a great Porsche enthusiast, and has been a great AC customer for many years. I was restoring some H4’s for Brian and now they’re going to Jason. Love it!

Congratulations on the addition to your stable Jason!

    Cheers,

Man, 451 sure looks like it's in good hands. Love the Avons, and the overall presentation of the car. Enjoy!

Have had the pleasure of spending a lot of time in the RS with a Brian over the years. Hate to see it leave the area, but happy to see it’s going to a good home. That car drives so well...it’s magical. Hope you enjoy it Jason.

Couldn't agree more! My short drive of #451 many years ago was a life-long dream fulfilled...that actually lived up to the hype.
