    Bosch date stamps

    Can somebody please confirm that the 230 stamp on these lenses is the Bosch date stamp?
    If it is from my quick search would mean Oct 72.
    Thanks for any assistance.

    Found these ink stamps on an old housing. From the table I found 506 would indicate Jun 65.
    Any body else have any info on the swb cnr light date stamps.

    Ahhh, referencing that table dates the BOSCH front right corner light assembly I have for sale to April of 1965. Mystery solved - Thank You "LiveFromNY" !
    ..now if only I could solve the mystery of my inability to sell my corner light assembly...

    Reviving this thread only to add a data point. I removed the tail lights from a 911 we have that was born on April 1965, and there is an ink stamp 503 in the same place. Knowing this is a '65 car, I'm confident these are the original tails. Glad I didn't scrub too hard!
