RGruppe Treffen 2020 has been Rescheduled until Apr 2021

This comes as no surprise to me. I expect Luft to be the next big car event for me to postpone or cancel their event in Durham, NC at the end of May. If Luft goes down the drain, that will mean I will be driving 10,000 miles less this Spring than I had intended.Things could be worse, though.

    Regards

I haven’t given up hope just yet. If it gets postponed or canceled, I’ll have to cancel reservations in multiple states,

I wonder about my non refundable hotel in Durham if/when Luft gets cancelled.

Jim - lets go down to Santa Ynez area when this clears and go drive some 356’a or early 911’s. We can get a good group together. Dirk would be game. Chuck, Victor, etc.

I was wondering the same thing. I’ve got one or two “non-refundable” prepaid reservations.
I’m all for some Santa Ynez driving!

The major hotel chains have all issued statements that even non-refundable rooms are eligible for a full refund. Call the hotel.

That's true. Most of my reservations are with small family owned hotels and motels. Most have already reached out and said that refunds will be at full value. The travel industry has been hit especially hard. My, Airline Captain, son is sitting at home with all of his flights cancelled or on hold.

It is all sad. I cancelled my room at Luft (Airbnb).

Please stay safe and healthy, and I'll see you down the road.

My last event was the Amelia Island Porsche Werks on 3-6-20 (with other events).

Our world stopped after that weekend.
