    FS: Vintage Porsche dealer signs

3 different vintage dealer signs. Sign fronts are originals, I bought out of Budapest,Hungary years ago. I had a sign company make new boxes and backs out of aluminum, and install LED lights inside. So they are nice and bright, even in a cold garage. Purple sign is 25" x 36", and is probably from the late 60's, early 70's. Bosch sign is 31" all around, and is probably from the late 60's or early 70's as well. White sign is huge, 27" x 59", and is probably from the 80's. They all have light surface scratches on the plexi, but are not noticeable unless you're right up close, and not noticeable when lit. Local pickup preferred, but will ship at buyers expense. These are getting harder and harder to find in good shape.

    Asking: $3500 Purple, $3000 White, $2500 Bosch

Like the ad says, the fronts are guaranteed originals. They do show wear, fine surface scratches/scuffs, but are really hard to see unless you're right up on them. And impossible to photograph because of the glare. I can take more pics if anyone is interested.

fascinating ....Porsche and Bosch brands appearing together on single original sign for batteries, don’t recall seeing that before so interested to learn from experts how and why that happened back in the day? Weren’t other starter battery brands OEM factory fit (such as Varta, Deta)? Was it specific to Hungarian aftermarket? Always open to learn.

Maybe it will inform a question I’ve asked previously ? https://www.early911sregistry.org/fo...ry-factory-fit

The few I've seen have quite a bit of yellowing on the white areas and look.. well old. I'm not saying these are not genuine because I'm no expert, but there is a recent thread on this

"Batterie station" makes no sense in hungarian.
In the late 60's, I wonder how many Porsche dealers there were behind the Iron Curtain, in a country squeezed hard by russian stronghold.
