    It mentions “reputation” so Porsche might have had a market presence (sales and service network?) in Hungary before 1990 but says “rapid success” so how far back was the first Porsche dealer established before the political changes there of late eighties even if sometimes country often seen a bit more open to western things before some others?

    I remain intrigued about the triangular sign....how come Bosch and Porsche crest (particularly that era crest design) appear together on same Batterie Station sign; does anyone know because I’m not sure Bosch factory oe contract at that time included their starter batteries ?

    That's my point. There was no Porsche dealership in Hungary before 1989.

    I bought them from a Hungarian collector, he had stuff from all over europe. I don't believe, nor did I state, that they were from actual Hungarian dealerships.
