    Metal carpet cover threshold trim

Does anyone know where I can find these carpet covers?
    Near where you feet go.
I imagine there were just made back in the day.
I don't know if I want to buy. Just doing research first.

I know about the aluminum ones, which I have.
I'm interested to know more about the spun stainless steel accessory.
    Were they ever factory?
And are they any other types?

I'd have to guess definitely not factory. Not something I've ever seen before.

I used to see these for sale in Panos years ago. Tweeks or PP or Vilem Hahn ? There was also a cover for the front fixed pocket.

I had them on my 65 356 ....they were on the car when I bought it in 1985 .
Obviously do a great job on protecting the carpet on that rolled edge from shoes as you get in and out.

There's a thread on these somewhere … They were period after market and sold as a set...

The ex-Otis Chandler silver 73S museum car that Bata Mataja bought had a full set....

A company named Haneline used to make those. They MAY have been offered at the dealer as an accessory option. BUT definitely not oem factory approved. MG Mitten (accessory company in Pasadena ) used to sell them for Porsche and other makes.

I've seen them once or twice, I want to keep looking.
Maybe a dismantler would have some?
