    GULF neon sign BIG one

a friend of mine (he is not much of an internet guy) is thinking about selling his GULF neon sign but does not have a clue what its worth.
it is 1,5 meter in diameter ...any thoughts, recent sales auction results.
    thanks

Generally, an auction would be the best way to sell an item of unknown value.

It IS cool... looks like one side is missing though, which is a shame.

The examples I found online aren't the same size or configuration, but might offer an idea of value.
Prices for a single molded plastic sized like your friends (no electric or metal) are around $5-600.
Larger porcelain versions can be upwards of $2-3,000. Full-boat lighted, maybe the same or more.

You might try eBay Europe just to test the market...
