No, post #10 by jashford shows tapered holes. AFAIK the early magnesium Minilites did not have tapered holes hence the need for the lugnuts w/washers. I'm "assuming" that the wheels posted by jashford are later wheels and/or aren't magnesium. Maybe those more knowledgeable will chime in??

I’ve got both styles in magnesium - ones that require the flat washer lug bolts and some that work with ball seats. I even have a set that I picked up from Pete Stout that have some ball seat inserts. Pretty interesting variations between all the minilites.

Interesting the wheels FS here don’t have the provisions for the washer to seat on the wheel face.

    ....detail of racing variations ....

....hopefully the various period information I’ve posted helps with the tape measure.

Sadly Chris_Seven is no longer with us. His educated opinion (a Phd metallurgy / materials science iirc) about undated Minilites so maybe made of this material specification would’ve been thoughtful and informative if wheels are from sixties so now five decades old:

    RIP Chris.

I’d like to see pics of your ‘60’s magnesium wheels w/ the washer inset if you could post. I do know that the later models had the inset. Thanks!
