    Yes, I'm familiar with the Jagdwagen, in fact if you need some wheels, I have a pair. I was more interested if there was in fact a VW Thing that Porsche c-branded, or if this was an elaborate April Fool's joke.

    The Type 181 came a decade later and was based on the Beetle. While it WAS a company contender in a Euro Jeep contract (which it lost to DKW) there is no connection to Porsche and only tangentially to the 914 project.
