    Scott, beautiful job, well done. I just finished by project as well, 71' with lots of missing parts and poor prior work but number matching and Albert blue. Did all the work myself so it will just be a very nice driver. I like the RH mirror as I miss not having one when driving. Was this the original position?

    I had an extra mirror, so I did some research. And there was a factory page on where to install the right mirror. As well, I did some practice, taping it on the door and sitting in the driver seat.
    For one nut, you end up using one of the access holes in the door.
    The other nut you have to get behind the door panel.
    I also looked around and found a convex round mirror. That was just the right size, and put that in there. So I could see more. I can't turn my neck that good anymore.
