    13 ft 2.7 RS banner

While going through some of my early 911 stuff i came across this 13 foot (4 meters) long stock banner with some great 2.7RS photographs I've had for years. Any idea how or what this was used for? Is it an official banner by Porsche or did someone make it for own use? Any help would be appreciated.

Don’t know for sure but likely some form of newish
Merchandising display sign used at Porsche retail premises or large event mechanising display dating from when Porsche brought out a bunch of Carrera RS trinkets (mugs, caps, jackets, cookie dough cutters!!!?) not too long ago to cash in by hawking new stuff but linked to history; a lot of those trinkets used that green. While some images on it maybe old suspect item itself is not that old. The approach of AG seems to be knock out some new retail things with a hook to evoke some old product, race livery or whatever ....I seem to recall a push on that similar type of martini racing new “bits and bobs”. Not sort of thing that lit my fire so dldnt delve much into the items on display but seem to recall seeing displays in corner of the huge corporate goodwood fos stand and likely many other places. About three years ago I was given a denim cap By Porsche with the green RS logo when salesman heard I had one but I’ve not worn it. Personally i prefer rare dusty vintage crap dating from back in the day (aka automobilia which can sometimes add a zero) rather than simply pricy new merchandise crap dreamt up by Porsche retail millennium to get money from evoking the past Put it in your dusty loft for forty years and it might earn your kids some money

Others might recognise probably know more. Always keen to learn. Maybe it is already a vintage rarity? Quite decorative. Slightly evocative of the hastily produced d
original Carrera RS brochure with the multiple shots.
