    how do you stop comfort seat from squeaking?

    does anyone have ideas to stop a comfort seat from squeaking?

    this is important!

    Squeaks mostly come from the spring basket in the base. You can remove the seat cover and spray WD-40 and cross your fingers, or see if you can trace it down to a few places. The seat back has some welded nuts that have a tendency to break. That too can lead to squeaks. I have a rebuild thread on those seats somewhere here that shows you the full anatomy of the seats.
